Welcome to Sauber Manufacturing
Innovation Drives Our Products.

For 40 years, the Sauber Manufacturing name has been synonymous with industry innovations. These quality introductions are universally used as the yardstick for performance, functionality and durability of high quality utility-grade equipment. Common sense engineering has led to dozens of industry firsts, such as galvanized steel finishes – literally making rusting fleet equipment an issue of the past.

We encourage you to find out what distinguishes our products from the pack, and work with our engineering-driven team to develop your next piece of equipment from the design stage through training on your custom application.

Innovations Start Here

1981 - Designed trailers that are easily upgradable - a budget friendly benefit.

1983 - Introduced the first torsion bar to feature bronze bearing points and bolt on configurations.

1985 - First substation recovery trailer developed from the ground up for this specialize use including cast reels and lifetime bronze engagement mechanisms.

1985 - Engineered the leading turret trailer system - rotate the reel, not the trailer.

1990 - Introduced the first hot-dipped galvanized trailer - a quantum improvement in rust protection.

1991 - Developed the only constant-diameter capstan puller - cutting pulling time and manpower requirements in half.

1993 - First oil filtration trailer to combine flexibility in tank and filtration configurations from a leader in utility equipment.

1994 - Presented the All Bronze disc brake system - smooth operating and rust free, it becomes the industry's benchmark for performance.

1996 - Introduced Almag Pads to the crane industry - both strong and lightweight, they provide engineered ram retention in a single casting.

1997 - Full size, durable, non-rusting, solar powered battery box included on all electric brake equipped trailers.

2003 - Standardized use of Apitong wood for platform and flatbed wood flooring. Apitong is virtually knot free, has low shrinkage, high dimensional stability and strength.

2005 - Standardized on bent tube frame construction - outstanding frame durability and engineering.

2007 - Increased turret warranty period to industry leading 10 years. Not one turntable turret bearing has ever needed replacement.
