Salvation Army Gift - 12/2007
In lieu of traditional gifts and trinkets often exchanged between vendors and their customers, Sauber Mfg. Co. has provided a $7400 gift on behalf of its employees to the Salvation Army. This tradition of sacrifice, where we do with a little less so the less fortunate can have some, has continued for eighteen years at the company. We salute the Salvation Army for their efforts in "Doing The Most Good" along with all organizations and individuals dedicated to serving those in need.

Christmas Greeting - 12/2007
Warmest greetings from your friends at Sauber Mfg. Co. In the infancy of our business, it was not uncommon for our founder, Chuck Sauber, to invite customer/friends to dinner at his home, where his wife would prepare and serve a home-cooked meal for customers like yourselves and their spouses. During a typical evening they would not only enjoy the developing relationship, but would "talk business," which in essence meant that they would share needs, and brainstorm ideas on how to solve them. Chuck often times awoke at all hours during the ensuing nights, only to jot down the ideas he had developed in a small notebook kept on his nightstand for that very purpose. At that time our business was largely contained to the Chicagoland area, and (thankfully) customers were much more accessible.
Today we appreciate the example of relationship building that fostered the success of our company almost 40 years ago, and take this opportunity to say thank you for working with our company to understand your needs and develop products that address them. The idea of sharing a home-cooked meal and spending time together working out needs is still a very appealing concept and what continues to drive innovation. Today's world calls for a different method of relationship building, but (thankfully) does not change our need and desire to satisfy your requirements.
This Christmas we would like to acknowledge the effort that the pioneers of our industry, some which are you, who have articulated needs and allowed us to answer with solutions. Historically at Christmas time, rather than share business gifts or food items, we have instead shared our resources with the least among us who are in desperate need.
To you and those you hold dear, we wish you a blessed Christmas.
Payroll Goes Paperless - 10/2007
We've eliminated paper checks and provided a portal for our employees to view their check, vacation used and remaining and update their address, exemptions and other information all in a secure enviornment.

Additional Clock-In Stations - 10/2007
Three additional clock-in stations have been added to allow
employees to clock in/out closer to their workstations.
Employees can clock in/out with their iFob or by using their
employee number. Data is sent directly to the server with each
entry and hourly employees can view their total hours worked
or any messages they have when they clock in or out.
